Philosophy

“Successful projects are defined long before construction begins.”
— Thomas Young

Early design decisions introduce cost and constructability risks that are not immediately visible—but ultimately impact budget, schedule, and project performance. When these issues surface in the field, they are significantly more expensive to resolve.

TYCC focuses on identifying and addressing these risks early in the preconstruction stage, when they can still be controlled.

Our Philosophy

What Sets Us Apart

Our perspective is grounded in direct experience managing and delivering large-scale construction projects. We identify potential schedule risks early and review contract scopes to minimize budget gaps and prevent avoidable change orders.

We understand not only how projects are designed but how they are actually built—how sequencing, logistics, and means and methods impact cost, schedule, and execution.

We identify unnecessary costs and problematic details others miss and provide recommendations that improve cost efficiency without compromising design intent.

We remain actively engaged throughout the process, with our clients’ interests and project objectives at the forefront.

Our Method

We align design, cost, and construction strategy from the earliest stages of preconstruction.

During preconstruction, we ensure design decisions reflect constructability, cost discipline, and execution planning—before risk is embedded in the project.

During construction, we provide independent oversight to maintain alignment between the project’s design and construction execution.

Our role is to equip ownership teams with clear, actionable insight—allowing them to make informed decisions without losing focus on broader development objectives.
